How do I make a seating plan?

Turn on Seating in Manage → Features, then create tables and seat guests on the Seating tab.

Seating needs an event that takes RSVPs here. Open Manage → Features and press Turn on on the Seating card. Open the Seating tab and press Add a table to name a table and give it its seats. A table's name can be up to 24 characters, so it fits on a nametag and beside a guest; a longer name saved before then keeps every character in the table's own panel and is shortened with … everywhere else, until you change it. On the website, Save and add another at the foot of a new table keeps it and opens a blank one.

Everyone coming who has no seat yet is listed under To seat. Open a guest and press the table they sit at. Open a table to rename it, change its seats, see who is at it, or open one of them to move them to another table or unseat them. Delete table, pressed twice, deletes the table and unseats whoever was at it. A table can hold more people than its seats; its row then shows more than it has.

A seating plan holds up to 100 tables.

Review unseated guests as answers change. A guest's plans may change after you first seat them.

Telling guests their table

Turn on Tell guests their table in the Seating sheet; it is off for a new event. On the day of the event, each guest who is coming sees Your table on Guest home, their page for the event, with the table they are seated at. When the people on one invitation sit at different tables, it reads Your tables and shows each person's. Guests only ever see their own invitation's seats.

If Seating is missing, check that the feature is on and that RSVP is on: with RSVP off, the Seating card reads Needs RSVP.
